Gigi's Threads and Things

Hi, I’m Gayle Zimmerman. My husband Mike and I moved to Wadsworth 7 years ago from Akron. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. To these wonderful boys and girls, I’m known as Gigi. Hence the name of my business “Gigi’s Threads & Things”.
After working at Akron Children’s Hospital for 34 years, I retired in early 2020 (during COVID) to be available to help our younger grandchildren if their schools transitioned to online school.
I have always enjoyed sewing and crafting. I learned to sew from my mom who used to make a lot of our clothes, gifts for our teachers, and beautiful quilts. Now with more time on my hands I get to create. I especially love making items for kids and, as you’ll see below, many of my items are kid-oriented.
