About the Maker
After an accomplished 30-plus-year career in the field of finance, Jo Ann Keller has taken her life-long love of art and artistic talents to create beautiful watercolors!
While working full-time and raising her family, Jo Ann found relaxation in art, creating quilts, pillows, table toppers, and curtains for her home! Her love and expertise for quilting became widely known and turned into commissioned work, where she has created hundreds of quilts!
A talented, skillful, and commissioned quilter and sewer, Jo Ann also enjoys creating cross-stitch, knitting, crochet, and floral arrangements for family and friends!
Additionally, Jo Ann has been hired to paint and restore outside concrete garden statues, which once completed, the restored pieces are transformed into stunning life-like creations! Jo Ann loves color, therefore, the painting provides a medium to express her love of color to create the art form known as paper mache’! She paints the paper mache’ in vibrant colors and decorates them with tasteful floral embellishments to fit every season!
Once retirement became a reality, Jo Ann shifted her focus to watercolor and the beauty this medium offers! As with everything art-related, Jo Ann is self-taught and has natural talent! She enjoys sharing her love of watercolor in the form of greeting cards and small wall art.
Jo Ann is very excited to be a participating artist in the new Wadsworth, Ohio shop, “Uniquely Made for You,” where you can find her watercolor art and paper mache’ items! Jo Ann is married to her loving husband Larry and she has five children and three grandchildren!
